How to see CPU and GPU temp in Windows 11 without Task Manager
You can see CPU and GPU temperatures in Windows 11 on Glassline's Hardware page, with HWiNFO running for the CPU readings and GPU temperatures shown where available. Click the clock, choose Controls, then Hardware to see them beside your PC's load and memory use.
Check Windows' GPU reading
- Press Ctrl, Shift and Esc together. Task Manager opens.
- Choose Performance, then your GPU. Look for a temperature reading for that graphics card.
Some graphics cards show N/A here. Glassline brings the available GPU readings into Control Center and adds CPU temperatures from HWiNFO, so you can check them together from the clock.
Open Glassline
- Install Glassline from the Microsoft Store. It needs Windows 11, version 22H2 or later.
- Open it. The clock in the menu bar is your way into Control Center. You will use Hardware there to check the readings.
Connect the CPU readings
HWiNFO is optional. To add its readings to Glassline, keep it running with its sensors started and Shared Memory Support turned on.
- Start HWiNFO's sensors. Leave HWiNFO running while you want Glassline to read them.
- Turn on Shared Memory Support in HWiNFO's settings. This lets Glassline read the shared sensor figures.
- Right-click the menu bar and choose Glassline Settings. Choose Control Center and turn on HWiNFO. Glassline can now add the processor's temperature and fan speeds to Hardware.
The free version of HWiNFO stops sharing after 12 hours. Its readings then stop in Glassline, and the Hardware page explains why. Turn Shared Memory Support on again in HWiNFO to bring them back. The sharing limit belongs to HWiNFO.
Read the Hardware page
- Click the clock. Control Center opens.
- Choose Controls. Find the Hardware row among the controls.
- Choose Hardware. The page opens with processor load, a graph of the last minute, each core, memory in use, and each graphics card's load and memory. Available temperatures appear with the readings.
You can also choose the figures shown beside Hardware on the Controls page. The readings stay in Control Center; the clock opens the panel when you need them.
