A dock that feels right.
Pinned apps and open windows, with a dot under the ones running. It magnifies under the pointer, opens Downloads and the Recycle Bin as stacks, and bounces an app while it starts.
Maximize a window. Watch the bar.
The menu bar takes the colour of the window under it, so the app seems to fill the screen. The dock slides away to give it the room, and comes back when you move to the bottom edge.
Weekend at the lake
Press the Windows key.
Search finds apps, files and settings, does sums and conversions, and hands anything else to the web. With Everything installed, every file on your drives shows up as you type.
Everything else, one click away.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, sound, brightness and your tray apps in Control Center. The clock opens your calendar, what's playing and your notifications. Try the sliders.
The weather, where you look anyway.
The temperature sits next to your status icons. Click it for the next day hour by hour and the week ahead.
Quit, and Windows is back.
Right-click the menu bar and choose Quit Glassline. The taskbar and Start menu return exactly as they were. If Glassline ever closes unexpectedly, they come back on their own.
